what causes dark spots on the body?

Dark spots on the body are common and develop due to various reasons like sun exposure, hormones or inflammation. These dark spots are the result of excess pigment in a localized area on the body. This excess pigment can be addressed by using ingredients to inhibit the production of an enzyme called Tyrosinase. Inhibiting tyrosinase is the first step to reducing excess melanin production.
